🔥 Kacey Musgraves Teams Up With Intocable for Spanish Version of “Uncertain, TX” — and This Texas Crossover Just Makes Sense

Country music, Norteño, Tejano roots and a whole lot of Texas are coming together on one track.

¡Ojo, Tejano fans! 👀 Kacey Musgraves has officially teamed up with Intocable for a brand-new Spanish version of “Uncertain, TX,” and according to the announcement, the collaboration arrives tonight.

And yes — this one definitely caught our attention at TejanoMax.

The official Kacey Musgraves release page confirms the new track as “Uncertain, TX Feat. Intocable (Spanish Version),” with links being prepared across streaming services. Kacey Musgraves

🤠 Country Meets Intocable — Texas Style

If you’ve followed Kacey Musgraves’ latest music, this collaboration really isn’t coming out of nowhere.

Her 2026 album Middle of Nowhere was built around the sounds she grew up hearing in Texas. Musgraves’ own official store describes the album as being made for two-stepping and drawing from Texas dancehall music while crossing into sounds including Norteño and Zydeco. Kacey Musgraves Official Store

That Mexican influence is something Musgraves has talked about openly. In an interview about the album, she described country music as a musical melting pot and specifically pointed toward Tex-Mex, Norteño, Mexican influences, Zydeco and polka as sounds connected to the bigger Texas musical landscape. So bringing Intocable into the picture?

Man… eso sí queda.

This doesn’t feel like somebody grabbing a Regional Mexican artist just because collaborations are popular right now. Intocable’s accordion-driven Texas sound fits naturally into a song that already had Norteño flavor running through it.

🎶 “Uncertain, TX” Started With Another Texas Legend

The original version of “Uncertain, TX” appears on Middle of Nowhere and features none other than Willie Nelson. The song was released in spring 2026 and uses the real tiny East Texas town of Uncertain as a clever backdrop for a relationship where somebody just can’t seem to make up their mind. Musgraves explained that she liked playing with the idea of a town called Uncertain where everybody is, well… uncertain — especially when it comes to modern relationships and commitment. WQCS

The original recording already featured accordion and Mexican-influenced sounds alongside traditional country instrumentation. One review even singled the song out for pushing Musgraves’ Mexican-music influences further with familiar accordion-driven rhythms. Houston Chronicle

Now imagine that song with the unmistakable Intocable touch.

Yeah… now we’re talking. 🔥

🪗 And This Isn’t Just Any Grupo

For more than three decades, Intocable has helped create one of the most recognizable sounds in Texas music, mixing Norteño, Tejano, pop and rock influences into a style that has crossed generations.

The Recording Academy lists Intocable with two Grammy wins and 10 nominations, including victories for Íntimamente and Classic. Grammy

And 2026 has already been a huge year for the group.

On July 16, Intocable received the 2,852nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Recording category — another massive milestone for a South Texas group whose music has traveled way beyond the border. Hollywood Walk of Fame

Now they’re joining one of country music’s biggest Texas-born stars.

That’s a crossover worth paying attention to.

🔥 This Is the Kind of Collaboration We Want to See

For Tejano and Regional Mexican fans, collaborations like this matter because they put the sounds we’ve grown up with in front of audiences that may never have stepped into a Tejano dance, a quinceañera, a South Texas festival or a backyard carne asada where the accordion stays playing all night.

But at the same time, Kacey isn’t exactly a stranger to these sounds.

She’s from Texas. Intocable is Texas. Norteño is deeply woven into Texas musical culture.

So instead of feeling forced, “Uncertain, TX” featuring Intocable feels like two different sides of Texas music meeting right in the middle.

Country guitar. Accordion. Spanish lyrics. Intocable.

Qué más quieres?

👀 And Check Out the Timing…

Here’s another interesting piece.

Kacey Musgraves is scheduled to perform tonight, October 5, at Houston’s Toyota Center as part of her Middle of Nowhere Tour. Ticketmaster US

There has been no official confirmation that Intocable will appear at the Houston show, so we’re not going to start that rumor — pero you already know Texas fans are going to be watching. 👀

Whether this remains a studio collaboration or eventually makes its way onto a Texas stage, the combination alone is big news for fans on both sides of the musical fence.

🎧 “Uncertain, TX” Feat. Intocable — Spanish Version

The official release page is already live, confirming:

Kacey Musgraves
“Uncertain, TX”
Feat. Intocable
Spanish Version

And according to the announcement, it drops tonight. 🔥

This is exactly the kind of Texas crossover we like seeing — not replacing one sound with another, but letting both cultures meet naturally.

Country meets Norteño. Nashville meets South Texas. Kacey Musgraves meets Intocable.

And from where we’re sitting…

esto se va poner bueno. 🤠🪗🔥
